Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 22 January 2020, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov met with the Vatican Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Apostolic Nuncio) with the residence in Moscow, Archbishop Celestino Migliore, completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

The parties exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations in various fields, discussed prospects for the development of interaction, and organization of contacts at the highest level.

The ambassador praised that one of the priorities in the domestic policy of the leadership of Uzbekistan is to ensure interethnic harmony and religious tolerance in the country.
