Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 February 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae Kwon.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed implementation of agreements reached within the framework of Uzbekistan – South Korea contacts at the highest and other levels, as well as proposals for a schedule of joint events this year.

The parties confirmed their interest in further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, as well as strengthening legal framework for cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on certain issues on the regional agenda.
