Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 June 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary, Peter Santo, via videoconference.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on prospects for development of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
The sides emphasized the importance of expanding mutual trade and implementing new joint promising projects. In this context, the 5th meeting of Uzbekistan – Hungary Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and a business forum of entrepreneurs of the two countries was noted with satisfaction.
The schedule of the upcoming joint events was also discussed during the talks.
