Uzbek Deputy FM discuss attraction of investments to Ferghana region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Abdualiyev, who is in Ferghana, held a meeting on April 3, 2019, dedicated to the work of our country’s diplomatic missions abroad to attract foreign investment in Ferghana region.

The meeting through the Ferghana-Tashkent-Muscat-Riga-Seoul video link with the participation of the heads of khokimiyats of Ferghana region and the districts discussed specific issues of implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as priority areas to attract foreign investors, create the necessary conditions for them infrastructure.

The ambassadors of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen and the Sultanate of Oman Anvar Abdukhalimov, Chargé d’affaires of our country in the Republic of Latvia Sharofiddin Mirzakulov informed about the work done and promising projects with foreign capital based on modern technologies.

Foreign investors from Latvia, who reported on the status of the preparation of project proposals, also took part in the video-selective meeting.
