Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by First Deputy N. Faizibaeva, paid a visit to France, Dunyo reports.
During the stay, a number of meetings were held in the leading secondary special educational institutions of France.
So, at a meeting with the director of the prestigious French Lyceum Louis the Great, J. Bastianelli, the parties discussed the prospects of establishing cooperation in the field of introducing high-quality experience in teaching mathematics, chemistry, biology and other subjects to specialized schools in Uzbekistan.
In the framework of negotiations with the director of the most historical educational institution in France - Lyceum Henry IV M. Burton, the French side expressed its readiness to assist in strengthening the scientific and educational potential of the Presidential and specialized schools of our republic.
The delegation of Uzbekistan familiarized themselves in detail with the structure and activities of educational institutions, teaching methods, selection of students, as well as training of applicants to universities.
It should be noted that the Lyceum of Henry IV and Louis the Great are the locomotives of secondary education in France. Graduates of these Lyceums are representatives of the ruling elite of France, including Jacques Chirac, Georges Pompidou, Francois Oland, Emmanuel Macron and others.
In these educational institutions, a high-level teaching system has been established according to the STEAM-education model (Science - science, Technology - technology, Engineering - engineering, Art - art, Math - mathematics), in connection with which graduates of these lyceums enter the best universities countries. The level of admission of graduates of these lyceums to higher educational institutions in France is 100%.
