Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism Alisher Kurmanov is visiting the People’s Republic of China from 17 to 23 November 2019.

The purpose of the trip, organized at the invitation of the All-China Assembly of People’s Representatives, is to further strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, to get acquainted with the activities of the free economic zones of the PRC, to exchange experience with government bodies.

The program of the trip includes holding meetings at the National People’s Congress, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and other ministries and departments, as well as visiting the Free Economic Zones, familiarizing themselves with their organizational structure, working characteristics and economic indicators.

Following the trip, proposals and recommendations will be prepared on the further development of SEZ in our country.
