Uzbek delegation participates in foundation of APPePN

The conference was organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Head of the department of the development of competitive environment and prevention of unfair competition of the State Competition Committee of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Kamaltdinov attended the conference.

This conference aims to strengthen the capacity of public procurement agencies in Asia and the Pacific to implement e-procurement solutions based on international best practices and sharing of experiences. It was attended by over 80 delegates from 40 ADB member states.

Bruce Davis, Vice-President of the ADB, opened the conference and briefed the participants on opportunities of the bank in providing the governments in introduction of electronic public procurement systems.

During 10 sessions, the participants introduced the public procurement systems, introduced in their countries, existing problems and advantages of the systems.
