The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said that Shavkat Normatov held negotiations with the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan and head of general staff of the Armed Forces Colonel-General Nadjmeddin Sadyhov.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in military sphere and security sphere between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

Afterward, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Zakir Gasanov met with the delegation of Uzbekistan. The sides exchanged opinion on military relations between two nations and other regional issues of mutual interest.
