Uzbek delegation holds negotiations in Bucharest

Within the visit, the Uzbek delegation met Advisor of Romanian President Julian Fot, Advisor of Prime Minister Luminita Odobescu, chairperson of the committee on foreign affairs of Senate Petru Filip, State Secretary for small and medium business, support of entrepreneurship and tourism of Ministry of Economy Dumitru Enahe, State Secretary of Ministry of Healthcare Chiriac Francisk Iulian, State secretary on higher education issues of Ministry of Education Gigel Paraschiv and State Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Development of rural regions Achim Irimescu.

The sides considered perspective issues of bilateral cooperation, including proposals on implementation of joint projects in various areas.

At the meeting with the deputy chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania Gelu Rusescu, the Uzbek side presented trade-economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan to representatives of Romanian business circles.
