Uzbek delegation holds a meeting with the Minister for Government and Future Affairs of the United Arab Emirates
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, negotiations were held with the Minister for Government and Future Affairs of the UAE, Mohammed al-Gergawi.
During the talks, extensive large-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE, carried out by 17 joint working groups formed from among the employees of state institutions of the two countries, was discussed.
The parties identified the priority areas of work as improving the functioning of the state apparatus, improving the investment and business climate of the Republic, strengthening the position of Uzbekistan in international ratings, improving legal regulation systems, education, urban infrastructure, public safety and education.
The meeting showed the commitment of both sides to the chosen direction and format of interaction, as the most effective mechanism for intercountry cooperation, while positively noting the unprecedented pace of progress in the implementation of joint initiatives.
Following the results of the negotiations, a detailed monitoring of progress was carried out in the context of each direction, points of further development were noted and a program of further actions was drawn up.
