Uzbek delegation attends transport conference in Ashgabat

The event, which was organized by the Government of Turkmenistan, participated over 200 delegates, representing ministries of transport, foreign affairs, trade of the foreign states, as well as international and regional organizations.

The participants discussed development of efficient international and regional transport and transit corridors, first of all, those passing through Central Asia.

Within the conference, four-sided meeting on perspectives of implementation of the agreement on creation of international transport corridor “Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman” with participation of ministers of the member-states of the project.

During the visit to Ashgabat, the delegation of Uzbekistan held several meetings with Turkmen officials on actual issues of expanding mutual beneficial trade-economic cooperation.
