Uzbek delegation attends OSCE gender equality conference

During the meeting, the Uzbek side informed the participants of the conference on measures on implementation of rights of women and their participation in public-political and social-economic life of Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.

Uzbekistan created and develops national legislation on protection of maternity, creation of conditions for gender equality, development women’s creative and spiritual potential.

Representatives of the 57 member states of the OSCE and the UN, international organizations, civil society and NGOs participated in the conference.
