Uzbek culture presented at youth camp in Russia

The event was organized to preserve, develop and popularize the Uzbek language and culture in Astrakhan region, upbringing children in mood of love and respect to traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, as well as expanding creative relations, strengthening peace and friendship among people of Astrakhan region.

The event also included an exhibition of traditional goods and souvenirs, which presented national clothes, books, and other products. The participants can try Uzbek sweats and meals. They also received information on customs and traditions, and history of Uzbekistan.

Director of service on implementation of social programmes for youth of Astrakhan region Yelena Feoktistova said that such events are important as it help to upbringing youth in mood of tolerance and intercultural dialogue.
