Uzbek consumers use services for 10.18 trln. soums in 1H

Official sector rendered main part of paid services to population. The sector rendered services for 6.264 trillion soums (61.5% of total volume), which increased by 6.6%.

The volume of paid services rendered to population by individual entrepreneurs grew by 15% and reached 3.922 trillion soums. The share of this sector in the total volume of paid services was 38.5%.

The share of the non-state sector in the total volume of paid services rendered to population was 84.3%.

The share of personal services in the total volume of paid services was 8.6% or 872.7 billion soums. Their real volume increased by 16.3%.

The share of services rendered by individual entrepreneurs in the personal services sector was 87.5%. The volume of services rendered by this sector has increased by 17% and hit 763.5 billion soums.

The high growth rates have been achieved in the following services: repairs and maintenance of agricultural equipment – 39.1%; financial – 34.5%; communication and information – 25.4%; repairs and maintenance of technological equipment – 19.3%; personal – 19.2%; computer programming – 18.4%; construction – 18.1%; public health – 16.3%; trade and catering – 15.5%.

The following services prevailed in the structure of services: transport (including logistical) (27.1% of total services), trade and catering (21.6%), financial (8.9%), communication and information (5.4%).
