Uzbek Competition Development Committee Approves Acquisition of Beverage Producer Southhub
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Competition Development Committee of Uzbekistan has approved the acquisition of the non-alcoholic beverage producer Southhub.
The decision was made following the review of an application by RG Brands South, a subsidiary of the Kazakh holding RG Brands, the official distributor of drinks and soft drinks in Uzbekistan.
A special commission determined that the transaction would not have a direct impact on the competitive environment and recommended allowing the acquisition of 100% of Southhub’s shares.
Southhub was registered in Yangiyul in September 2025 with a charter capital of 100 billion soums and is owned by Master Global Plyus, the parent company of the Cool Line and Carelux antiseptic brands.
Co-owners of Southhub include Maksud Faizullaev, Nilufar Khadjaeva, Khabibullo Khasanov, and Bobir Karimov.
RG Brands South, established in 2021, is wholly owned by RG Brands and has a charter capital of 23.12 billion soums. The deal will allow the holding to strengthen its position in the Uzbek non-alcoholic beverage market.
