Uzbek Companies Hold Talks on Supplying Leather to Vietnam and Indonesia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international exhibition “APLF ASEAN 2025” is currently taking place in Ho Chi Minh City (Socialist Republic of Vietnam), with Uzbekistan participating for the first time.

At the joint “Made in Uzbekistan” stand, organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Uzcharmsanoat Association and JSC Trading Development Company, the export potential of Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry is being showcased.

Eight domestic companies are taking part in the exhibition, presenting their products to international partners.

The first day of B2B negotiations has already delivered tangible results. Amm Global and Hamkor Nur Savdo held meetings with Vietnam’s Leplus Viet Nam Co., Ltd and Indonesia’s Rud. Rohmat Leather to discuss supplies of finished leather (crust).

At the initial stage, the sides are considering the supply of 50,000 square meters of leather. These talks mark an important step toward expanding the export horizons of Uzbekistan’s leather industry in Asian markets.
