Uzbek citizens return to their home

Two citizens of Uzbekistan, who became victims of human trafficking, were returned from Pakistan to their homeland, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad, Uzbek citizens went to Pakistan to work and became victims of human trafficking.
They escaped from detention and applied to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad for assistance.
The Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Bureau of Investigation of Pakistan assisted to return them to Uzbekistan without charges for violations of the rules of entry and exit.
On 20 July 2017, they were returned to Uzbekistan by flight Lahore-Tashkent of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.
The consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan called on citizens of Uzbekistan to study the laws of foreign countries before going abroad and to be vigilant in their search for work, acting strictly within the laws.
