Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the representative office of Uzbekistan Airways in Malaysia on 15 May 2020 organized the second charter flight to return the citizens of our country to their homeland, which flew from the Malaysian capital at 20:00 local time.

The first charter flight organized on March 22, 2020, 160 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were evacuated from Malaysia.

The embassy keeps constant contact with compatriots in a given country through the social platforms Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and What’s App.

In order to avoid possible difficulties for citizens of Uzbekistan in extending their visas, the Embassy, together with the Immigration Service of Malaysia, worked out the issue of unhindered departure of compatriots from the territory of Malaysia, in particular without issuing a special pass.

The embassy continues to operate in the operational headquarters mode.
