Uzbek Citizen in Critical Condition Repatriated from Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek citizen in critical condition has been repatriated to his homeland under the escort of a representative from the Ministry of Health, reports the Dunyо news agency.

Staff from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the Agency for External Labor Migration in Yekaterinburg completed all necessary procedures for document processing and organized the transportation of the compatriot.

According to the diplomatic mission, the citizen, G.A., had arrived in Yekaterinburg for employment purposes but was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a local hospital due to severe illness, diagnosed with a “major cerebral infarction and fracture of the cranial vault and base of the skull.”

On 1 November, G.A. was transported by ambulance to Yekaterinburg International Airport and sent to Uzbekistan accompanied by a Ministry of Health representative.

Uzbek diplomatic missions and the Migration Agency continue to provide comprehensive support to citizens facing difficult circumstances abroad.
