Uzbek Citizen in Critical Condition Evacuated from Türkiye with Consular Support

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek citizen, F.Y., who was in critical condition in Türkiye, has been repatriated to Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Uzbek General Consulate in Istanbul and the Turkish Migration Agency, the consulate reported.

According to the authorities, F.Y. arrived in Istanbul in July 2025 for employment purposes and worked on construction sites in the Arnavutköy district on a rotating schedule.

On 29 September 2025, his health suddenly deteriorated, and he was hospitalized at the Arnavutköy State Hospital.

Following the necessary medical treatment, the General Consulate and the Migration Agency organized his return to Uzbekistan under the supervision of a duty physician.
