Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, on 6 April 2020, a citizen of our country R.Kh., born in 1969, died in a local clinic as a result of complications from coronavirus infection.

On 22 March, R.Kh. had the first symptoms of the disease, in connection with a sharp deterioration in his health, on 2 April he was hospitalized and connected to a ventilator and immersed in a state of artificial coma.

During this period, the Consulate General maintained constant contact with his relatives.

Currently, the Consulate General, together with the leaders and activists of diaspora organizations, are resolving organizational issues related to his funeral.
