Uzbek boxers win five medals in Bulgaria

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international tournament “Strandja” ended in Bulgaria. About 350 strongest boxers from 42 countries competed for prizes in the ring.

According to the results, the national team of Uzbekistan won 5 medals.

In the weight category of up to 56 kg, Miraziz Mirzakhalilov won the gold medal along his teammate Bobosmon Baturov (-69 kg).

Khudoynazar Faizov (-52 kg) and Abdulhay Shorahmatov (-56 kg) won the silver medals. In the weight category up to 60 kh, Shunkor Abdurasulov became the bronze medalist.

In the team event Uzbekistan ranks 3rd (2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze). Russia clinched the top place with 5 gold and 4 bronze medals. India was second with 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals
