Uzbek boxer wins bronze medal at youth WC
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
World Youth Boxing Championship ended in Kiev, Ukraine. Uzbekistan national team won a bronze medal of the tournament.
Twelve boxers represented Uzbekistan at the tournament. Eldor Merjanov from Tashkent clinched a bronze medal in weight category of 66 kg.
Five more boxers – Sulaymon Latipov (46 kg), Bobirmirzo Tolipov (57 kg), Myzaffar Rashidov (60 kg) and Bahramjon Fozilov (75 kg) finished on the fifth place.
About 350 boxers from 56 countries of the world participated at the tournament and fought for 13 sets of medals.
