Uzbek Boxer Melikuziev Wins Bout in the U.S. by Technical Knockout

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A professional boxing event took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In one of the bouts, Uzbek boxer Bektemir Melikuziev secured another victory. Competing in the super-middleweight category, he faced Ghanaian opponent Sena Agbeko.

In the very first round, Melikuziev suffered a cut above his eyebrow from a clash of heads. Despite the injury, he continued the fight and maintained confident control throughout the bout. In the seventh round, the Uzbek boxer achieved a technical knockout, successfully defending his WBA Intercontinental title.

After the fight, Melikuziev stated that his primary goal is to win a world championship belt. He expressed that he is fully prepared for a title fight and hopes to bring the championship to Uzbekistan in the near future.
