Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 November, the Uzbek-Belgian business forum was held in Tashkent.

The event was attended by representatives of the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investment under the MIFT, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European-Uzbek Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ), as well as Belgian companies representing the sectors of agro-industrial processing, transport and logistics, industry, healthcare, etc.

The business forum was organized in order to inform Belgian companies about the conditions created in Uzbekistan to support entrepreneurs, favorable opportunities for international trade, as well as attracting investments and foreign partners to Uzbekistan for doing business.

Also, the foreign guests were informed about the main directions of the CCI’s activities, as well as the services provided to foreign partners when entering the Uzbek market and developing entrepreneurial activity.
