 
                            
                                Uzbek Athletes Win 22 Medals in a Single Day at Youth Games
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 October, during the III Asian Youth Games, Uzbek athletes delivered remarkable performances, securing a total of 22 medals in a single day: 13 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze.
Gold medalists in boxing included Abdugani Yorkinjonov (-46 kg), Ibrohim Shokirjonov (-60 kg), Rushanabonu Isoeva (-60 kg), Diyorbek Murodillaev (-75 kg), and Asadbek Sultonboev (+80 kg).
In judo, top honors went to Gulsanam Hazratova (-57 kg), Mirzokhid Khudoykulov (-73 kg), Samandar Sunnatov (-81 kg), Jurabek Eshpulatov (-90 kg), and Alibek Durdiev (+90 kg).
In weightlifting, Dilnura Kholdorova excelled in both the snatch and clean & jerk in the under-77 kg category, while Khasanboy Kholmuratov won gold in the snatch for the +94 kg category.
Silver medals were earned by boxers Kumriniso Muhammadova (-54 kg), Saidhuja Sadillahujayev (-66 kg), Samira Turgunova (-75 kg), judokas Shokhista Turaeva (-70 kg) and Khonzodabegim Usmonkulova (+70 kg), as well as weightlifter Abbosbek Akhrolov (-94 kg, snatch).
Bronze medals were awarded to judoka Maftuna Akhmedova (-63 kg), weightlifter Mokhinur Esonboeva (+77 kg, clean & jerk), and jiu-jitsu athlete Ziyoda Shomurodova (-63 kg).
The outstanding results highlight Uzbekistan’s growing prominence in youth sports across multiple disciplines.
