Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Specialists from Uzbekistan and Japan during a video conference shared their experience in combating COVID-19, Dunyo reports.

From the Japanese side, the president of the Japan Infectious Diseases Association, the president of the Japan Society of Clinical Microbiology, and the professor of the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the University of Toho Kazuhiro Tateda participated in a video conference organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

During the video dialogue, Uzbek and Japanese specialists exchanged information on measures taken in two countries to combat coronavirus, actions to detect infected people and experience in treating patients.

Particular attention was paid to the characteristics of the course of the disease in the infected, the symptoms manifested, the effectiveness of drugs, measures to increase the efficiency of the work against the spread of the virus and improve the health status of patients.

The parties agreed to maintain constant contact.
