Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Kuwait, Bahromjon Aloev, was invited to Kuwaiti television, where he gave an interview in the popular Good Morning, Kuwait and Welcome to Kuwait programs.

Answering questions from TV presenters, our diplomat spoke about the achievements over the past year in the development of Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations in the political, trade, economic, investment, financial, cultural and humanitarian spheres. He emphasized that this year our countries will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. It was mentioned that one of the most striking events that marked the beginning of the anniversary year was the recent performance of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan in Kuwait.

Special attention in the interview was paid to the tourism potential of our country. The ambassador informed about the attention in the republic to the development of the travel industry, wide opportunities for cultural, sports, medical tourism, modern tourist routes and infrastructure, the level and quality of service, the introduction of visa-free and simplified visa issuance regimes for citizens of various countries. He also spoke about the favorable factors and advantages of tourism in Uzbekistan, the rich history, spiritual, cultural and scientific heritage of the Uzbek people.

In his interview, B. Aloyev talked about the economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, which allowed achieving sustainable growth rates of the national economy, creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, including the adoption of a new investment law.

He also talked about the ongoing democratic reforms in the republic. In this context, detailed information on the outcome of the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was provided.

In the framework of the programs with the participation of an Uzbek diplomat, documentaries on the modern development of the republic, its historical cities and applied art were shown.
