“Uzavtodor” Building in Central Tashkent Sold at Auction for 242 Billion Soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The office building of the Road Committee (“Uzavtodor”), located in central Tashkent near the Hamid Alimjan Metro Station, was sold through an electronic auction for 242.09 billion soums.
The auction on the E-auksion platform took place on 18 December and lasted less than 15 minutes. The only bid, exceeding the starting price by 5%, was submitted by Kobiljon Mamadiyurovich Norbekov.
The seven-story building at 68 Mustakillik Avenue was listed for sale in November by the Agency for Management of State Assets (AMSA) under the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution of 7 March 2025 on the privatization of state property. The starting price of the property was 230.56 billion soums.
The total area of the buildings and structures exceeds 19,300 square meters, with the adjacent land covering more than 1 hectare. The property is fully equipped with essential engineering infrastructure, including gas and electricity supply, water, and sewage systems.
AMSA also reported that other Uzavtodor assets are being offered for sale, including a laboratory building near Tashkent International Airport and a bus depot in the Almazar district of the capital.
