Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Automobile manufacturer UzAuto Motors plans to introduce eight new car models in the near future, the company’s CEO, Janos Kovacs, announced during the presentation of the Chevrolet Tahoe High Country SUV in Tashkent.

According to Kovacs, the Tahoe High Country is the first model in the new lineup. He did not specify which vehicles would be included among the upcoming releases or their exact launch dates but noted that one of the models will be a hybrid version of the Chevrolet Captiva.

UzAuto Motors remains the country’s largest car manufacturer. In 2024, the company sold 373,000 vehicles, and as of the end of August 2025, sales had reached approximately 200,000 units.

The automaker aims to increase this figure to over 300,000 vehicles by the end of the current year.
