UzAuto Motors Maintains Market Leadership in Uzbekistan: Car Sales Exceed 24,000 Units in January 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2026, a total of 24,186 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to data from JSC Uzavtosanoat.

UzAuto Motors retained its leading position on the domestic market, selling 13,374 vehicles, which corresponds to a 55.3% market share.

The second spot was held by Khorezm Auto, which sold 4,771 cars (19.7%). Together, these two manufacturers accounted for 75.0% of the market.

ADM Jizzakh remained in third place, selling 3,798 vehicles (15.7%).

Among other market players, notable results were shown by BYD Uzbekistan Factory with 2,179 units (9.0%), and Asaka Motors, which sold 64 vehicles (0.3%).

By brand, Chevrolet led the market with 18,145 vehicles sold in January. KIA ranked second with 2,529 units, followed by BYD, whose sales matched the factory’s production of 2,179 cars. Other brands included Chery (664), Haval (605), and Hyundai (64).

The most in-demand models among consumers were Chevrolet Cobalt (5,422 units), Chevrolet Tracker (4,157), and Chevrolet Onix (3,682).

The top ten models for the month also included Chevrolet Damas (3,434), KIA Sonet (2,159), Chevrolet Labo (1,337), BYD Yuan UP (712), BYD Song Plus Champion DM-i (700), BYD Chazor Champion (373), and Haval Jolion (330).
