UzAuto Motors buys Chevrolet Equinox at a price of about US$22,840 per unit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UzAuto Motors purchases Chevrolet Equinox cars at a price of about US$22,840 per car.

UzAuto Motors and General Motors Overseas Distribution LLC in 2019 signed a contract for the supply of 8,750 Chevrolet Equinox cars to Uzbekistan in 2020-2021. The relevant information was published on the public procurement website.

The total amount of the contract is US$199.9 million, or about US$22,840 per one car. Delivery terms is CIP/CPT (railway station Ablyk, Uzbekistan).

It should be noted that the price of Chevrolet Equinox cars in Uzbekistan is 349 million soums, or about US$33,660.

According to the government procurement website, UzAuto Motors also signed a contract with GM Korea Company for the supply of Malibu vehicles (1.5T / 2.0T LT / 2.0 T LTZ). According to the agreement, the amount of the contract is 57.26 million. UzAuto Motors does not report the number of purchased cars.

The price of Chevrolet Malibu cars in Uzbekistan ranges from 278.32 million soums to 324.45 million soums, depending on the modification.
