UzAuto Denies Rumors About Brake Failure in Cobalt 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Several Telegram channels have circulated videos and photos claiming that a Cobalt 2025 experienced a brake system failure, allegedly causing a traffic accident in Nukus.

UzAuto Motors JSC refuted these claims, noting that the company has not received any reports of brake system malfunctions for this model.

The company emphasized that every vehicle undergoes a multi-stage quality control process.

In particular, the brake fluid is automatically filled in a vacuum using the Error Proof system; a static inspection of the ABS and electrical connections is performed, followed by dynamic testing on a rotating stand (DVT) that simulates real operating conditions.

UzAuto urged users to refrain from spreading unverified information to avoid misleading the public.

The final assessment of the accident’s circumstances will be provided by the Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
