Uzatom Delegation Joins Kazan International Energy Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzatom Agency delegation is continuing its official visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, actively participating in the Kazan International Energy Forum “ENERGOPROM,” which opened on 2 April in Kazan.

During the day, the delegation attended the forum’s opening ceremony, explored the specialized exhibition, and took part in the plenary session “GOELRO ver. 2.0: Reviving the Legend,” as well as the 68th meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council.

The forum focused on key industry challenges, including infrastructure modernization, technological sovereignty, digitalization of processes, industrial cooperation, and the training of qualified personnel. Special attention was given to international collaboration, experience sharing, and the implementation of joint energy projects.

At the CIS Electric Power Council session, participants discussed the current state of the energy systems of member countries, regional coordination, reliability of energy supply, integration of new generation capacities, and strengthening practical cooperation.

Speakers highlighted Uzbekistan’s systematic work in modernizing its energy infrastructure, constructing new capacities, implementing digital technologies in the grid sector, and developing regional energy partnerships.

The Uzatom delegation continues its active engagement, promoting international collaboration and strengthening Uzbekistan’s position in the energy sector.

The Kazan International Energy Forum “ENERGOPROM” is a leading industry platform supporting the implementation of Russia’s Energy Strategy through 2050. Since 2026, the forum has held federal status and traditionally takes place at Kazan Expo, featuring a comprehensive business program, exhibition, and expert meetings.
