Uzatom Agency hosts a meeting with a delegation of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A delegation of Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan paid a visit to Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the Kazakh delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the Uzatom Agency and examined the Atomic Technology Information Center (ATIC).

During the meeting, issues of developing bilateral relations in the field of energy and the peaceful use of atomic energy were discussed in detail.

The parties also touched upon the topics of cooperation in the field of developing joint efforts in the information sphere, environmental impact assessment.

They also discussed in detail the development and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the peaceful use of atomic energy.
