UWED increase tuition fee for students

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) is increasing tuition fee by twice for undergraduate and graduate students from 2018-2019 academic year.

The university said that the decision was made to transfer the educational institute and improve quality of education in training specialists in foreign policy and foreign economic activity based on advanced foreign experience.

The university said that it is improving its material technical base and purchasing modern books and manuals, used at leading universities of the world.

UWED said that it is also improving its curriculum, focusing on deepening self training of students and developing analytical thinking.

The university said that it is hiring foreign specialists on various directions. This academic year, some 10-15 foreign specialists will be attracted to the university.

At the same time, the university said it will adopt measures to social protection of students. The students will receive discounts or get jobs within the university campus and create startups to help them to make business.

The university will also plans to attract businesses to cover tuition fees of the students.
