The company has been categorized under CAATSA – Russia and CYBER4, indicating involvement in activities subject to sanctions for supporting Russian infrastructure or participating in related cyber operations.

The document also notes a connection between Datavice and the Russian company Aeza Group LLC, which provided infrastructure for groups engaged in ransomware and data theft operations.
