US present technology on introduction of methanol to automobile fuel to Uzbekistan

The US Methanol Institute and Uzbekneftegaz national holding company signed an agreement on cooperation on introduction of methanol to automobile fuel in Uzbekistan, the Russian media reported quoting source in Uznefteproduct.
Within the agreement, the US side will provide technology on use of methanol as addition to automobile petroleum.
The source recalled that Uzbekneftegaz is carrying out work on use of methanol as addition to fuel and plans to develop standard on use of methanol as addition to automobile fuel.
