US Open: Istomin and Amanmuradova lose in first round

Representatives of Uzbekistan Denis Istomin and Akgul Amanmuradova completed their performance at the US Open, last Grand Slam tournament of the season.
Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin lost to Estonia’s Jurgen Zopp. Istomin won the first set 6/3, but lost next three 3/6, 3/6 and 5/7.
In the women’s draw, Akgul Amanmuradova lost to Tatjana Malek of Germany. The score of the match 6/4, 2/6 and 4/6.
