In the course of the conversation, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis noted that Uzbekistan highly values existing level of bilateral relations and attaches great importance to further strengthening of friendly relations with the United States on the whole range of relations, including inter-parliamentary relations.

There was also an exchange of views on the state and prospects for further deepening of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, as well as trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The parties expressed hope that the visit of US congressmen to Uzbekistan will play an important role in expanding inter-parliamentary relations and will give a special impetus to deepening the interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
