Updated list of essential medicaments approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has approved an updated list of essential medicaments.

The number of items in the list of essential medicaments has increased from 328 to 820, according to Norma.uz.

The list of essential medicaments and medical products is used to draw up schemes for reimbursement of medicaments, stimulate their production by local pharmaceutical enterprises, monitor availability and pricing, and compile lists of humanitarian assistance.
