Unknown Individuals Tried to Enter Apartments in Tashkent Posing as “Suvsoz” Employees

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the Shodiyona neighborhood at Kara-Kamysh 2/5 in Tashkent’s Almazar district, there have been reported attempts by unknown individuals to enter apartments while claiming to be employees of JSC “Tashkent City Water Supply and Sewerage” (“Suvsoz”).

According to investigations, the intruders asked about the number of residents in the building and operated under the pretext of “coming from the laboratory.”

Representatives of the company confirmed that these individuals have no connection to Suvsoz and that their motives remain unknown.

“The information has been forwarded to law enforcement authorities. Appropriate measures are being taken in accordance with existing procedures to prevent such incidents and their recurrence,” the company stated.

Suvsoz officials urged residents to remain vigilant, verify the credentials of anyone claiming to be from utility services, and report suspicious activity to the police.
