Universities of Uzbekistan to admit about 62,600 students in new academic year
In line with the document, universities will accept 56,607 people to Bachelor degree courses, including 19,755 people on state grants and 36,852 on payment-contract base.
In new academic year, 5,856 people will receive opportunity to study for Master degree, of which 1,561 on state grants and 4,295 on payment-contract base.
Correspondence department of Kungrad branch of Tashkent chemical-technologic institute will admit 65 students to Bachelor department on state grants, while Tashkent information Technologies University – 50 students, including 15 on state grants.
In line with the resolution, 20% from total quota (11,300 places) were allocated to military servicemen, who receive recommendations to study at the universities.
Turin Polytechnic University will receive 200 people to bachelor department in 2010/2011 academic year at its new building in Tashkent.
