Unique project Fitoteka to be launched in Tashkent

On 5 November, a network of drug stores OXYmed and Bionorika will launch a unique project for Uzbekistan – Fitoteka, which is directed to attract attention of the population to high quality medicaments from herbs and form culture of treatment with use of herbal medicaments.
Fitoteka is the network of specialized departments in traditional drug stores with large number of medicaments and teas from herbs, used to treatment and prevention of various diseases. Similar departments work in some European states, Ukraine, Russia and Balrus.
Michael Popp, chairperson of the board of Bionorica SE, said that the goal of the Fitoteka to attract attention of people to natural medicaments and so they can buy high quality phyto medicaments and receive consultations.
The project consists of two directions – creation of specialized departments at drug stores and training pharmacists on phyto medicaments.
