UNDP Resident Representative visits Uzbek State Statistics Committee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Mr. Stefan Priesner paid a visit to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan on 12 June 2013, the information service of the Uzbek body said.

The visit was aimed at discussing issues related to current and future cooperation and further strengthening strategic partnership between the UNDP and the Government of Uzbekistan, including the State Statistics Committee.

At the meeting, the sides positively rated current state of cooperation and expressed hope for closer cooperation in future within the cooperation programme between the Government of Uzbekistan and the UNDP.
