Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of the Director of the Public Services Agency Halilillo Turakhujayev with the UNDP Resident Representative Matilda Dimovska was held at the Center for Public Services of the Chilanzar district of the capital.

The purpose of the event is to exchange views on the implementation of the joint project “Improving the provision of public services and improving the level of governance in rural areas” and familiarizing themselves with the activities of the Center for Public Services of the Chilanzar District (TsGU).

During the meeting, M. Dimovska noted that several times during other events she had heard about large-scale reforms carried out in the field of public services and the activities of the Central State University, and now, thanks to this meeting, she can personally see the activities of the Center.

The Director of the Agency introduced the guests to the process of obtaining public services, the amenities created at TsGU and answered questions regarding procedures, popular services and further development strategies for the sector.

According to Matilda Dimovska, to contribute to the development of public services is a great honor and responsibility for UNDP. Having got acquainted more closely with the activities of TsGU, she developed a full-fledged vision of how to improve this area and make it more innovative.

Following the event, the parties expressed hope for a long-term and strategic approach in the implementation of the Project and the continuation of work to create comfortable conditions for the population.
