UN information office conducts a workshop for WIUT MUN 2014 delegates

Model United Nations is a role play, during which university and high school students simulate the work of UN organs. Over 80 delegates received valuable knowledge on rules of procedure, mode of conduct and work of main organs of the UN such as Security Council, General Assembly and ECOSOC.

Event was preceded by guest speeches from experienced delegates Eldor Sattorov and Lola Jabbarova who participated in a number international MUN Conferences and UN Programmes as Harvard MUN, Rome MUN, and United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.

The 3rd annual upcoming Model United Nations at the Westminster International University will take place on 22-23 February, with the participation of 40 observers and 110 delegates from various universities in Uzbekistan including the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent, students from Namangan and Andijan State Universities.
