Umrah-2014 spring pilgrimage continues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pilgrims from Uzbekistan, who conducted Umrah pilgrimage, are returning to Uzbekistan from Saudi Arabia, international service of the Committee on religious affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The pilgrims from Uzbekistan are heading to Saudi Arabia to carry out pilgrimage. The Umrah spring pilgrimage will be held from 24 February to 5 May and state bodies are attracted to create necessary conditions for Muslims from Uzbekistan.

Currently, 775 pilgrims from Uzbekistan are in Saudi Arabia, About 175 of them are in Medina and 600 people in Mecca, the committee said.

The committee said that all pilgrims are in good health and the pilgrimage is continuing.
