The Chairman of the Political Council of UzLiDeP S. Turdiyev noted that this decree will raise the agriculture in the village to a new level. From the first days of Independence the government of Uzbekistan has been implementing a coherent and comprehensive policy in agricultural sector aimed at ensuring food security, increase production, storage and export of agricultural products.
- It should be noted the timeliness of the adoption of this decree - said a member of UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan R. Kabilov. – Separately I would like to emphasize that this decree will form a unified system of production and procurement of fresh fruits, vegetables, potatoes, melons and grapes for stable supply of raw materials to processing enterprises, store for autumn-winter period to satisfy needs of population and export of fruits and vegetables to foreign markets, thereby it will help raise the activities of our electorate dekhkan and farmers to a new level.
It should be also noted that the decree aims to encourage producers of fruits and vegetables. Namely, the processing enterprises with private ownership are exempt from customs duties (except for customs fees) for the import of advanced equipment and technology, as well as from a number of taxes and obligatory payments until January 1, 2019.
- This decree is an important and timely for us, - said the head of company «Al Said» M. Saidaliev. – One of the first we have brought equipment for processing of vegetables and currently we are exporting the finished products. Using the created conditions, we plan to develop our activities and expand the market for our products.
At the end of the event, participants received answers to their questions from the experts concerning the above-mentioned decree and identified tasks to ensure its execution.
