Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 10 August, a solemn event was held in Kiev at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine in honor of the launch of regular flights from Kiev to the city of Samarkand. The event was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Abdualiev.

As part of the event, the tourism potential of Samarkand was presented. The participants who attended the event expressed great interest in Samarkand and noted that in the near future, they intend to visit our city. In addition, during the event, everyone could taste the national cuisine of Samarkand, as well as enjoy the performance of the national dance, through which one could see and feel our national traditions and customs. The event was attended by representatives of large Ukrainian travel companies, media, as well as bloggers. The Ukrainian low-cost airline Bees Airline plans to launch its first flight from August 30 this year.
